The Tail End: April

Welcome to April’s edition of The Tail End- a light hearted newsletter we will send out at the end of the month, with some funny and heartwarming things happening behind the scenes here at Auntie M Pet Care.

We hope you had a wonderful April- we sure did! After these April showers, we're eagerly awaiting May flowers. 

Here's what our April looked like: 

 Our month started off strong on April 1st with an ambitious shift in communication strategy—we ditched email and messaging apps in favor of carrier pigeons. The goal? A more organic, tech-free workplace. Unfortunately, the pigeons had other plans. Most failed to return after their first delivery (we assume they found better jobs), and a few simply stared us down and flew off. By the end of the day, they’d collectively quit—no two weeks’ notice, just feathers and attitude.

But the pigeons weren't the only animals in our care giving their opinions this month…

For our April team Get Together, we went birding in Bent Creek.  We heard & saw:

The April Paw-lease Report:

Bombur, Admin Abby's bunny, chewed through a laptop charger chord and the power chord for a $200 headset. In addition to the evidence left at the scene, Bombur provided a full confession, expressed no remorse and displayed intent to commit the crime again.
