Auntie M Pet Care is a trusted professional pet sitting, dog walking, and dog training team. We are a woman-owned, LGBTQIA+ friendly company that serves the greater Asheville and surrounding areas. 7am-3pm
1pm-9pm
Overnight (single nights to multi-week stays weekday and weekend)
Sunday & Monday availability preferred

Holiday coverage (optional + higher pay)
Black Mountain (Swannanoa to Marion)
7am-3pm
1pm-9pm

Hendersonville (Fletcher to Flat Rock)

What You’ll Do
Care for many types of pets in their home
Travel up to 30 minutes from home for services (extra helpful if you’re willing to go a bit farther occasionally)
This will be based on your availability and customizable work preferences.
Your responsibilities will include:
Client meet-and-greets
Walking dogs on pavement, trails, and steep terrain
Cleaning/drying dogs after walks
Feeding, refreshing water, and medication administration
Enrichment, play, and engagement
Litter box care and waste cleanup
Plant care + mail pickup + taking out trash when clients are out of town
Tidying the home and replacing linens after overnight stays
Following instructions carefully and respectfully
Protecting client privacy and home safety (no unapproved visitors)

Requirements
Must be 18 years or older
Reliable transportation - you will need your own vehicle
Comfortable walking dogs of all sizes and breeds
Can lift 30 lbs and work in all weather
Smartphone for team and client communication
Ability to pass a clear background check
Prior pet care experience preferred
