The Tail End: June
🥵 Who else is wishing they had a pool to jump into right now? This heat wave has been intense and we've still been out and about caring for pets!
This is what we've been doing to keep cool:
Walking on grass & trails, trying to avoid pavement sidewalks as much as possible
Providing lots of water
Walks in creeks whenever we can
Taking it easy and taking breaks while on walks

Whether you're splashing in the pool, wading in a creek, or keeping the doors closed and AC blasting, we hope you enjoyed June!
For us, June was full of adventure! There were highs, like Tian & Cedric winning ribbons at a dog show:
And there were lows…
But mostly highs!
We soaked up the warm sun…
Enjoyed lots of kitty snuggles
Daisy and her feline sister Periwinkle explored the golf course
Max fell asleep in his bowl after breakfast
And Megan spotted this cool reptile snoozing in a tree

The June Paw-lease Report:
Just as dawn was breaking on June 27th, Eliana arrived at the home of Wilson & Polly and discovered that Wilson had taken it upon himself to redecorate. His dog bed was completely torn apart, with tufts of fluff scattered like snow across the living room floor. Wilson greeted Eliana with a wagging tail and zero remorse, clearly quite pleased with his overnight project. He even made attempts to frame his sister Polly for the destruction. The fluffs were promptly cleaned up and Wilson & Polly went on with their day as if nothing had happened.
