Did you hear? The cicadas have emerged!
Who are we kidding? Of course you heard them. They're everywhere.
The cicadas are echoing through our mountains and while we might collectively be over the noise and buzzing, our canine friends are eating up the cicada invasion.
Literally. The dogs are eating them.

Sage & Weller climbed a log:
Brantlee shared that her cat, Jay, will only drink water if the bowl is on the cat tree & will scream at Brantlee if it's elsewhere. Jay is giving strong princess CEO vibes and honestly we're here for it.
Our dog trainer Megan is currently doing a training retreat with an amazing German Shepherd, Pacha. While posting some videos of their progress to Instagram, the caption generator confused Pacha's barking with Santa Clause:
Meet Periwinkle:
She belongs to one of our newer team members, Gertrude. Gertrude has trained Periwinkle to perform tricks & hike! This is a picture from a 2.5 mile hike Periwinkle did with Gertrude & three dogs! It's safe to say we're thoroughly obsessed with Periwinkle 😻

The May Paw-lease Report:
At approximately 10pm on May 20th, our team member Heather's canine, Moose, was released into the yard for a routine bedtime bathroom break. Shortly thereafter, Moose returned to the residence exhibiting strong evidence of a skunk encounter. Moose sustained skunk spray contamination on both sides of the face, indicating a direct hit. Immediate efforts were initiated to neutralize the odor and Moose is now de-skunked.
