Alex has loved animals for as long as she can remember, growing up around dogs and horses in Texas before moving to Asheville in 2017. She quickly fell in love with the mountains and the pet-friendly community here and has been building her life around them ever since.

At home, Alex shares life with three pups, Winnie (pictured below), Fanny, and Ferris, and still enjoys horseback riding whenever she can (she even has a horse named Jackson 🐴). When she’s not with animals, you’ll often find her curled up with a good book or out exploring the mountains she now calls home.
