Our Training Retreats jumpstart your dog’s progress by giving them the opportunity to live and learn with Megan, Auntie M’s professional dog trainer, at her peaceful cabin on a beautiful Hendersonville farm.
Surrounded by nature, scenic trails, and plenty of space to explore, your dog receives focused one on one guidance and real world practice away from daily stressors.
These retreats are designed to take the heavy lifting off your plate. We build the foundation your dog needs, then support you as you bring those new skills into your everyday life.

2 Week Training Retreat
A foundational two week reset that helps your dog regulate, make meaningful progress, and start working through behavioral challenges.
3 Week Training Retreat
A three week adventure ready immersion that deepens regulation, works through behavioral challenges, and builds the refined reliability needed for off leash freedom.
Mini Training Retreats
A three night minimum retreat designed for established clients who want more than standard boarding, giving your dog the chance to stay with a trainer and continue their training while you travel.
*A consult is the minimum requirement to become an established client
This is for you if your dog is…
Age: 6 months and older
Potty trained: able to be left unattended indoors without accidents; if you're questioning, they are not potty trained.
Crate trained: comfortable being crated up to 4 hours without destructive behavior or self-harm; we may ask for a short video demonstrating this.
What's included:
Immersive training experience including daily socialization
Tailored training plan that jumpstarts solving problems you're currently facing with your dog, and getting ahead of behavioral issues that will become more serious over time
Daily updates and video check-ins via Instagram (let us know if you don't have IG)
1hr midway session for 2-week and longer stays to transfer skills on to you
1hr go-home session for all training retreats to transfer skills on to you
Instructional videos for behavior-specific training, as needed throughout program
A package of 3 in-home 1:1 sessions to ensure the skills learned are transferred to you
What's not included:
Gear and equipment (may require purchase based on consultation)
Food, food bowls, medications, or supplements
Any other expenses that may arise for regular care for your dog (veterinary expenses, supply restock, etc).
Behaviors we can work on include, but are not limited to:
Impulse control (eating things they shouldn't, prey drive is causing problems)
Dogs showing early signs of separation anxiety
Velcro dogs building independent confidence
Difficulty Settling (constant pacing, inability to relax in home or settle in crate)
Leash Skills (reactivity, pulling, lunging, stubbornness)
Resource Guarding (food or toy possessiveness)
Fear-based reactivity (cowering, avoidance, growling when approached)
Responsiveness to commands
Excessive barking/vocalization
